The 100 UPZ und 160 UPZ Fine Impact Mills from Hosokawa Alpine are designed for the fine and ultrafine grinding, for defibration and for cutting materials of Mohs’ hardness up to 3. Depending on the equipment, powder fineness values range from approx. 100 µm to 1500 µm.

The fine of final product is adjusted by selection of the corresponding size reduction elements and as a function of the machine speed.

This mill has many applications in the chemical industry, food stuffs and animal feed industry as well as in the pharmaceutical industry.
