Drying | Machines & Equipment | Chemical

Check out these examples of industrial dryers, centrifuges and humidifiers equipped for the chemical industry. The term drying refers to the process of removing water or moisture from a given product or substance. Drying equipment can be applied to liquids, solid and gases and is used in for example the production of agrochemicals, petrochemicals and fine chemicals. Well known applications are plastics, pigments, toners, detergents, polymers and pesticides. Which drying equipment to choose depends on material properties and required final product as well the environment and amount you need to process.

Drying equipment for chemical production facilities.

We have various types of industrial vacuum dryers for drying powders, granules, slurries or pastes. Examples of vacuum dryers include our conical screw or paddle dryers, rotary or tumble dryers, but also cabinet tray dryers. But we also have continuous solutions for vacuum drying like for example vacuum drum or film dryers. We also offer several centrifuges for discharging, filtering and separating. Examples include scraper centrifuges for solid-liquid separations and peeler centrifuges that separate fine particles from suspension liquids.

The pusher centrifuge allow continuous throughput of solids and is often used for processing zinc sulphate, lysine, nitrocellulose, salt, sodium carbonate, urea, potassium chlorate, potassium nitrate, linters and so on. Flash drying refers to the removal of moisture by a stream of hot gas. Freeze drying is used for dehydrating high-value products that are too sensitive for conventional drying processes. In Fluid Bed dryers a product or solid is made fluid by an upward moving flow of gas. Belt dryers are very effective when processing materials in pellet, powder, or crumble form.

We also offer a wide range of dehumidifiers that can be integrated in contained production processes or simply control the climate of your production facility. Browse machines and drying equipment below and if you have any questions our team of local engineers is happy to support. Each production process is different and our engineers help production facilities to improve product quality as well safety and efficiency of the production lines.
