In modern food manufacturing, there are many production processes that require separation of raw inputs into usable component ingredients. Some processes involve a mechanical removal of shells, husks, skins, pods or other unwanted parts of organic ingredients. In other processes, the raw ingredients arrive on site in need of separation from dust, grit, or other unwanted particulates. Some processes require ingredients to be chemically separated into components that can be used in later processes, such as distillation, extraction or concentration.

Technology for separation of ingredients in food manufacturing

The highest quality of raw ingredients is key in food production, and at Vekamaf we can advise on a range of equipment designed to remove contaminants and increase quality.
