Batch pharmaceutical production machines and equipment are those that are designed to support the initial stages of production for new product lines, or to be used in smaller volume lines for lower demand products. It is vital that batch production machinery is flexible, easy to use and energy efficient.

A key element in choosing any batch production equipment is minimising downtime associated with process changes. Choosing the right equipment to allow you to operate at peak efficiency is key, and modern technology means rapid changeovers, quick cleaning and easy maintenance, with higher quality than ever before.

At Vekamaf we have substantial pharmaceutical industry batch production experience. Our specialists will help you to choose the right technology to give maximum benefit to your production systems, and then advise you on the suppliers that can deliver the specifications that you need. We work with you to ensure that your batch production machinery can seamlessly integrate with your existing processes and actively improve your reliability and throughput.

Give us a call and involve us in the process! Every production challenge is different. If we can’t help you ourselves, we will help you find the partner who can.

Technology for batch pharmaceutical process units

At Vekamaf we have experienced engineers who can advise on the latest ranges of batch mixing and homogenizing equipment. We have a broad range to meet the requirements across multiple industry sectors. For example, our laboratory dispersing machine for low-viscous masses uses specialized stirrer geometry and a conical shaped vessel which allows the processing of extremely small batches when necessary.

Our experience allows us to advise on specialist processes, such as freeze drying, as well as the full range of industrial vacuum drying solutions using drums, vacuum belts and cone dryers. For indirect drying solutions, our disc dryers and paddle dryers offer extremely reliable batch drying of a wide range of inputs.

A selection of pharmaceutical compounds and end-product storage and handling systems are available, ensuring your batch process always receives the right inputs at the right time. These include vacuum conveying systems, depalletizing and FIBC handling systems and storage filling and emptying solutions.

Vekamaf’s partners provide a broad series of specialist pharmaceutical filling and packing systems, including sterile filling lines for injectables and ophthalmic eye drops. We also advise on inspection systems for liquid filled containers such as ampoules, vials, syringes and bottle, including manual and automatic options.

Hugely important to the pharmaceutical sector, we can offer a range of sterilization equipment, including auotclaves and steam generators, as well as pharmaceutical and gas sterilization equipment.

Our engineers can also advise on laboratory scale equipment for R&D and small batch processing of pharmaceuticals, as well as pilot plants for evaporation and distillation, and pilot centrifuge and dispersing equipment that allows results to be accurately scaled up.

We strive to be an inspiring conversation partner for our clients and we are continuously on the lookout to spot new trends and innovations. We work closely with a select network of international partners. Our engineers are periodically trained in batch production technology for the pharmaceutical industry. We help production facilities to increase the flexibility and quality of their output, as well as increasing efficiencies and lowering energy consumption. We look forward to learning more about your challenge so that we can connect you with the right expert!
